"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. "
- 2 Corinthians 9:7
Why we give.
The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 8:8-9,
8. "I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.
9. For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich."
God has given us everything. What we do with what God has given us shows the world that we have put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and "prove our love" to Him that SO LOVED the world.

Ways To Give
Give Online
We have begun this great opportunity to offer online giving right here through our website and app. It is a very easy process and makes giving tithes and offering convenient simply at the push of a button.
Give In Person
In our services at Joshua Baptist Church, we still have a time of offering where a plate is passed through the congregation. This is the traditional method of bringing in your tithes and making it a part of your worship at church.
Mail - In
If you are unable to attend services and would like to still give traditionally, we can also receive cash or checks through the mail. Our mailing address is P.O. Box 1012 Joshua, TX 76058.
